What’s the clubhouse feel coming into 2026?

The clubhouse energy is really good right now. A lot of the guys are hungry after last season, and there’s a real sense of unfinished business. Everyone knows how close we came, and that’s been a big motivator through the offseason. At the same time, the atmosphere is loose and positive. The guys enjoy being around each other, and when you have that kind of chemistry it really shows on the field.

Is there anything different about the 2026 team?

I think the biggest difference is experience. A lot of the core group went through that deep playoff run together, and that kind of experience is huge. Guys know what it takes now. There’s a little more confidence, a little more focus, and everyone understands the standard we’ve set for ourselves. We’ve also added a few pieces that fit really well with the group, so it feels like a balanced team.

How far ahead are you guys looking here? After a trip to the finals you must be excited to get back there and give it another try.

Obviously the goal is to get back there and finish the job, but we’re trying not to get too far ahead of ourselves. The focus right now is just getting better every day and taking the season one step at a time. If we play the way we know we can and keep building throughout the year, we’ll give ourselves a chance when it matters most. But yeah, there’s definitely excitement to see what this group can do.
